Moonchild trapped forever on Kodak gold 200
A chilly day in the studio photographing `moonchild` turned out to be an experience filled with unexpected turns and creative challenges. We had meticulously planned to utilize various unique areas of the studio that would complement the aesthetic we envisioned for the shoot. However, upon our arrival, we were met with disappointment as the spaces I had originally earmarked for our session were unfortunately no longer available for our use. This left us with little choice but

Do androids dream of electric sheep? - A roll of Kodak Portra 400 burnt on the last day of 2023 @ Gods Own Junkyard, London
On my first visit to Gods Own Junkyark, a beautiful industrial unit that is brimming with an astonishing collection of vintage neon signs, situated on the far side of London. I was blown away away by the energy of this incredible space However, the experience was somewhat marred by the strict policy that prohibits the use of 'professional' photography equipment inside the venue. This restriction left me feeling a bit lost and frustrated, as I had envisioned capturing the vibr

Blackout - A candle lit set with Lunar
This shoot with Lunar came about in a pretty unusual way. We were both living in Johannesburg South Africa, and, as it tends to happen often out there, the power was scheduled to go out for a few hours. Rolling blackouts are a regular thing in the dirty dust bowl of JHB and when you’re in the middle of one, there's no electricity for hours at a time. So instead of sitting around in the dark, we grabbed some candles and decided to make some art. The result? A set of photos lit

Take a dip in the Hot-Tub Time Machine with Lunar.
Although originally intended to send to Suicide Girls, this set with Lunar hasn’t ever been seen or published (as far as I know). I think its one of the ones that just didn’t fit anywhere. A failure? A late bloomer perhaps? We made these photographs in Jo’Burg many moons ago and they have just been sitting on my archive hard drive ever since. Attempting to sort my archives out, properly, decided I would give them a fresh edit and put them up rather than let them erode away

Blinding Light of Irida
A small set of images featuring the talented powerhouse of a model that is Irida The Shapeshifter . We planned to shoot something very different on this day and somehow ended up exploring a small band of light that was streaming through the window blinds instead. Thats the way it is sometimes. Just have to go with the flow. Roll with the punches. Pew Pew. Thanks for coming to have a look

Unicorns Exist
When I first landed in the UK late 2017, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. I didn’t know how to connect with people to photograph, and it felt like I was plagued with technical problems for years… After reaching out to Tash online discussing a few bits and bobs we made plans to meet up and make some photographs. It was the middle of winter and we didn’t have many options for locations to shoot, but as with most things, I jumped straight in and seized the opportunity to

Irida The Shapeshifter, a monochrome nude study on Kentmere 400.
After what seemed like a lifetime of phtographing dribs and drabs on film, then having to wait ages to save up money/film rolls to get developed in a big batch (sometimes throwing mine in with friends) was just the only way to get development and scans in a post digital world.. However, I got rather sick and tired of having to fork out my hard earned coins only to recieve generally poor quality, low res scans back from the labs. I once even had one of the larger camera labs i
